Have you ever been at the airport, bored out of your mind, with nothing to do besides sit there and look at your phone until your flight is ready to board? Unlike many other airports, South Korea’s Incheon Airport offers many options to explore while you are waiting to board your flight.
Incheon is a city in Korea, bordering the capital – Seoul, and is the 3rd largest city in South Korea by population. To the west on an island is Incheon Airport, along with some other little cities. At the airport, there are two terminals, “Terminal 1,” and “Terminal 2.” Terminal 1 alone, is a four-level facility, so there is an array of options for you to choose from in order to make your “before-flight” experience less boring.
There are many restaurants available to you, including not only Asian cuisine, but food from Western countries as well. Some of these include – Food on Air, Sinpo Korean Style Sweet and Sour Chicken, KFC, Pho Bay, Bibigo & Seasonal Table, etc. Some people even go to the airport just for food!
Not only is there a ton of food options, but there are also shops, spas, and the Museum of Korean Culture. Different places you can go throughout the terminal include Lotte Duty Free, the Traditional Cultural Experience Center, an ice skating rink, one of 2 movie theaters, and Spa on Air. Since the airport is a four-level facility, it’s easy to see how all of these facilities could be fit into one terminal.
